Run Up For Down Syndrome

The Run Up For Down Syndrome was on Sunday June 6th.  It was raining when we started, but the sun was shining when we crossed the finish line.  We had 24 registered walkers/runners on our team, Lovin' Life with Luke, and we raised a total of $1,210.  A huge thanks to everyone who supported our team.

Here's some of our pictures, but it's definitely worth your time to watch the 8 minute video on YouTube.

It's all for this adorable little guy...

Our team, Lovin' Life With Luke.

And here we go...

Hannah & Caleb both ran the 5k and then had to wait for us to finish the 5k walk.

Here's Luke crossing the finish line... YAY!!!

It was a lot of fun. Next year the race is on June 5th.  Our goal is to have 50 registered team members on Lovin' Life with Luke.  Hope to see you all there.

The Olympics

It's been five months since the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics... five months already.  I've never been so proud to be Canadian.  Here's some Olympic memories we made with our five.

We saw the torch as it was carried down the main road of Ladner.

And we waved our flags.

Hannah & I were given tickets to watch the pairs figure skating finals. It was AMAZING!!!

We searched in the rain for the cauldron ... and we finally found it.

We watched the mascots skate and we even got close enough to touch them.

Hannah, Caleb & Andrew made an appearance on the CTV late night news with Coleen Christie.

And on the last day, we went to the Richmond O Zone & watched some of the closing ceremonies.

We miss you 2010 Olympics & we are proud to be Canadian.
